The handsome Saddle Up showcases the skill of our master saddler, with the stitching and solid brass buckles echoing the detail of riding gear.

Shown here in natural oiled walnut with tan saddle leather seat and back, featuring solid brass harness buckles, escutcheon pins and contrast stitching.

Constructed using a solid walnut frame with shoulder hide leather. The hide is crafted and stitched by hand, edge striped, dyed and creased. It is sourced from the traditional tanning town of Santa Croce sull’Arno, Tuscany.

Our hardwoods, except where stated are hand finished with a clear microporous hard wax / oil. The natural vegetable oils and waxes allow for an even colouring accentuating the natural colour tone and grain of the wood.

For our saddlery inspired pieces we have chosen shoulder hides for their inherent characteristics. Tanned in the traditional tanning town of Santa Croce sull’Arno, Tuscany using vegetable and natural animal fats. The hides are covered under the European REACH standards.
